In this role, you will provide essential mental health services through personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. This full-time remote position in Tacoma, Washington, allows for flexible scheduling while delivering transformative therapeutic support in a community health clinic setting. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW), you will be instrumental in enhancing access to quality mental health care and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to establish baseline mental health needs.
\n
• Provide individual and family therapy tailored to patients’ identified needs, including various therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
\n
• Document all therapy sessions, complete billing accurately, and maintain up-to-date individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms within specified time frames to ensure timely patient care.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies, supporting patient stability and wellness.
\n
• Create detailed discharge plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring they have a structured pathway to continued wellness.
\n
• Uphold all applicable federal and state laws, regulatory standards, and NEHS policies in the delivery of services.
\n
• Commit to professional growth by participating in ongoing training and educational opportunities.
\n
• Engage actively in case consultations and participate in agency meetings to enhance program effectiveness and peer support.
\n
• Complete all licensure maintenance and mandatory training required for best practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Washington State.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct mental health therapy or counseling services to populations similar to those served by Phoenix Rising Counseling Center.

• Experience utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities and demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet client needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
