Physician Assistant Pediatrics CVICU
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Pediatrics CVICU for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves working in a dynamic 16-bed pediatric cardiac care center, providing top-tier care for critically ill pediatric patients with congenital cardiac conditions. Key responsibilities of the Physician Assistant Pediatrics CVICU include:
- Manage patients with congenital heart disease, including complex anatomy and physiology, in a multidisciplinary environment
- Care for high-acuity patients such as pre- and post-operative pediatric cardiac surgical patients and high-risk single ventricle physiology
- Perform arrhythmia management and provide vasopressor support
- Assist with external and internal pacemakers, VA/VV ECMO, and CRRT
Requirements of the Physician Assistant Pediatrics CVICU include:
- 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
- Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program
- Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing
- Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
- BLS from AHA
- PALS from ABA
