\nThe Lead EMS is an EMS Provider who reports directly to the EMS Manager and is responsible for overseeing assigned 12-hour duty/call shifts. Shift supervision includes training and guidance of crews; checking and maintenance of truck, equipment, and quarters; direct patient care and other tasks as deemed appropriate; and collaboration with other departments or personnel as required.\n
\nThe Lead EMS is the officer in charge of his/her crew and is ultimately responsible for all aspects of day to day operations and for ensuring adherence to all KBEMS / ACH pre-hospital protocols as well as compliance with accreditation standards and appropriate emergency vehicle operation. Leads are full time non-exempt.\n

• Oversee Anderson County EMS Long Term Education Program
\n
• Oversee Community Benefit Inventory for Social Accountability (CBISA) for Anderson County EMS
\n
• Coordinate Public Education for EMS (Stop the Bleed/CPR/First Aid/ETC)
\n
• Serve as EMS Manager in their Absence
\n
• Assist with Administrative Duties as Assigned (Payroll/Statistics/ETC)
\n
• Response to Pro-Hosptial Calls of Service
\n
• Assistance within Hospital as Applicable
\n
• PALS and ACLS certifications preferred.
\n

\nBasic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Driver's License - Various, Emergency Medical Technician (KS) - Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services\n
