Job Summary: Shipping & Receiving /Forklift

We have a international production company in Ft Myers looking for a Shipping Associate who has forklift experience.


This company produces filters and casings for fuel products.

The Shipping Department is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods to customers or distribution centers. This role involves preparing shipments, managing inventory, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and customer specifications.


Verify and process shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.


Coordinate with carriers, freight companies, and couriers to schedule shipments and track deliveries.


Ensure all shipments comply with safety, regulatory, and company policies.


Maintain an organized warehouse and ensure proper storage of outgoing materials.


Use shipping software and logistics systems to process shipments and generate tracking information.


Conduct quality checks on packages to ensure accuracy and prevent shipping errors.


Manage inventory levels and communicate with the warehouse team to maintain stock accuracy.


Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.


Resolve shipping issues, delays, and damages with suppliers and carriers.

Qualifications and Skills:


High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree in logistics is a plus).


Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, or logistics preferred.


Familiarity with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL, or freight management systems).


Basic knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment processes.


Strong organizational and multitasking skills.


Ability to lift and carry packages up to [X] lbs.


Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.


Forklift certification (if required for the role).

Position Type: Full Time

Pay: $18.00


Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm
