Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced medical surgical/telemetry environment
• Adapt to a higher-than-typical patient turnover rate consistent with a rapid admission unit model
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members while working independently
• Monitor and assess patients awaiting surgery as well as general medical admissions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a high-acuity admission setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rapid admission or high-turnover medical surgical unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong organizational skills to manage shifting patient assignments efficiently
