Job Overview Building Location: 32nd Avenue. Department: 3013290. Position: NURSING – BIRTHPLACE – 32ND HOSP. FTE: 0.9. Shift rotation Day/Eve/Night. Flexible scheduling, no call obligation, no union. Compensation: $37.10 – $55.65 per hour. Responsibilities Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meet requirements of the Joint Commission or other regulatory agencies. Coordinate lactation education and support within the nursing division. Special Requirements for NICU RNs in Fargo, ND Perform transport via helicopter and ambulance. Education and Qualifications BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing school. Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required when moving to Level 3 NICU RN (after 2 years of employment or as approved by the manager). Preferred: L&D RN experience.
