Litigation Paralegal

Position: Litigation Paralegal / Legal Secretary – Plaintiff Personal Injury Location: Clark, Bloomfield and Paramus, NJ Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000 Our client is a well-established and highly respected New Jersey plaintiff's personal injury and medical malpractice law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Legal Secretary to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys through all phases of complex personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience and possess exceptional organizational, communication, and case management skills. Responsibilities Support attorneys throughout all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigation, from case inception through trial. Prepare, draft, and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents. Manage case files, maintain litigation calendars, and monitor deadlines to ensure timely filings. Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and expert witness scheduling. Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, and other case-related documentation. Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, insurance carriers, and court personnel. Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, trial notebooks, witness coordination, and document management. Maintain accurate case information and provide administrative support to attorneys as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience required. Strong knowledge of New Jersey litigation procedures and court deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Professional, client-focused demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software preferred.
