Position Summary
The individual will assist graduate students by performing quantitative PCR evaluation of Toxoplasma gondii parasites in infected mouse tissues. This will involve isolation of tissue DNA, PCR amplification of parasite and host sequences and performing calculations to determine relative parasite genome number to host genomes.

Preferred Qualifications


Experience with quantititative PCR Knowledge of immunology (prefer individual to have taken BIOL 456)
