Construction Administrator

As a Construction Administrator, you will bridge the gap between design and completion. You will be responsible for the overall success of assigned projects leading up to and during construction. This role requires a blend of technical civil engineering knowledge, project management proficiency, and outstanding client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage internal budgeting, schedules, and deadlines while coordinating with permitting agencies and stakeholders.
Construction Oversight: Prepare construction estimates, technical specifications, bid documents, and contracts. Manage the bidding and contract process for civil site projects.
Communication: Lead daily interactions with clients/staff; facilitate meetings between developers, contractors, and municipalities to keep projects on track.

Technical Support: Review constructability of civil designs, material submittals, and design-build plans. Coordinate with design teams to answer RFIs and provide field direction.
Documentation & Closeout: Review site and testing reports; oversee the closeout process with multiple municipalities across various projects simultaneously.

Mentorship: Foster the development of direct reports and demonstrate leadership both internally and to the public.
Qualification Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management or Civil Engineering).
Experience: 3–6 years of construction/project management, preferably in land development (residential, commercial, or industrial).

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and experienced with Project Management and scheduling software.
Compliance: Ability to interpret and apply complex rules, regulations, and local ordinances.

Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
