As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, employee and visitor activity, and vehicle traffic to support orderly operations at a package handling and distribution facility. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailers, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
