Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma history and inform personalized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma and fostering personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available healthcare resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to promote continuous learning and trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
