Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, but you will also have the opportunity to work in our outpatient office as needed. We prioritize a flexible work schedule, accommodating hours from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week. This flexibility allows you to tailor your work environment to meet your personal needs while providing essential mental health services to your clients. Equipped with a supportive administrative team, you will have assistance in scheduling and client service, allowing you to focus on your therapeutic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that thoughtfully address patients’ trauma history, ensuring an empathetic approach to treatment selection.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies tailored to individual needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to create a cohesive and integrated care plan for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and secure patient documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, thereby ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

• Engage through case consultations and team meetings to enhance skills in trauma-informed care and remain current with the latest research methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing trauma-related disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges stemming from traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

Minimum educational requirements for this role include:
