Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating patients' trauma histories and identifying effective treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience while adjusting as needed based on each client's progress.
\n
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing proven therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Maintain effective communication with psychiatrists and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention services during critical trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and supportive presence.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma dynamics, coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them in their healing journeys.
\n
• Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations and ongoing professional development to hone skills in trauma-informed care and stay updated with current literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse and those experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges stemming from their traumatic experiences. Your work will help clients process their trauma and guide them in developing essential coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment approaches in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience focused on trauma-informed therapy is highly preferred.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment methods, including EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care.

• Proficient in using EHR systems and technology in delivering telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
