Customer Service Representative

Schedule:Our team operates 7 days a week to support customer demand, with operating hours of Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–9:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. This is not a traditional first-shift schedule, and flexibility is required. Associates may work either (4) 10-hour shifts or (5) 8-hour shifts, with schedules varying based on business needs and customer volume. Weekend availability (Saturday or Sunday) is required, and team members can expect to work 1–2 holidays per year. Your Role at Batesville: As a Customer Service Representative , you will be the first point of contact for funeral directors needing assistance or information. You will work to solve timely and critical problems, you will provide detailed product and service information, and you will place accurate and timely orders. The expected pay for this role is $19.00-$23.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location. You will partner with our field service and sales teams to make sure our Batesville Team always delivers the best service in the industry. You will work in a fast-paced environment, but we will first prepare you to efficiently help with each customer interaction. As a team, we provide service 7 days a week and evenings, but we try to match up the business needs with your individual preferences and think creatively to create working shifts that work for you. There are options to work 4 days per week. While we have many opportunities for growth within the department, we ideally are looking for new team members that can stay in our department for a minimum of 3 years before moving on to other roles, hopefully within our great company. What You’ll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years related experience in customer service Nice to Haves: Team player and service mindset. Relationship building and communication skills. Effective at learning and organizing information. Skills and a mindset to solve problems & deliver WOW service. Adaptability and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
