Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Do you thrive on the excitement of a busy dinner service? McNally's Irish Pub is looking for a skilled Kitchen Line Cook to join our team in St. Charles, Illinois. As a Line Cook at our full-service Irish restaurant and bar, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to our authentic Irish cuisine offerings.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper plate presentation and food preparation
- Demonstrate excellent knife skills and proficiency in scratch cooking techniques
- Practice portion control and maintain food quality throughout service
- Execute broiling, sautéing, frying, and sauce making with precision
Required Skills:
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking and food service within restaurant or catering environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diets
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
Salary and Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $18/hr.
- Maximum Salary: $22/hr
