About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 32-bed adult and geriatric medical-telemetry unit with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• Acute care medical-telemetry environment with trauma patients and complex medication administration including Heparin drips
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC EMR
• Adult and older adult population with opportunity to utilize skilled nursing and rehabilitation expertise
• Specialized equipment exposure including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment
• Assignment length as agreed upon; no return-to-office flexibility
• Prior NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) training is a valued plus

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure eligibility
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Documented medical-telemetry experience with competency checklist required
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute medication administration and telemetry monitoring
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Badge-appropriate professional photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
