Customer Service Representative

Client Overview:

Our client is an established, growing company in the Tampa area looking to add a customer-focused professional to their team as a Customer Service Representative . The organization provides a collaborative environment and is continuing to expand its operations.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr - $22/hr, Depending on Experience

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers while also providing support to the sales team. This is a highly customer-facing position ideal for someone personable, adaptable, and who enjoys helping customers find solutions. Industry-specific experience is not required.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

• Assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Respond to customer questions and identify their needs.
• Prepare quotes and provide product or service information.
• Coordinate samples and other customer requests.
• Provide administrative and customer service support to the sales team.
• Work with a variety of customers and personalities.
• Communicate effectively with both customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a professional and positive customer experience.
• Learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technology.
• Assist with general showroom and office needs as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

• Customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and personable demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to ask questions and understand customer needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and processes.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and supporting a sales team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

• Experience in a showroom, distribution, construction, retail, or similar customer-facing environment.
• Experience supporting a sales team.
• Industry-specific experience is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable learning and working with computer systems.
• Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative is preferred.
