Manager, NIL Sales

Excel Sports Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Position Summary This position will be based in Excel’s LA or NY Office and will be instrumental in supporting the NIL sales efforts. Proactively monitors industry and business trade news to identify: Viable companies and brands that may or may not be a fit for Excel NIL talent, properties and brand marketing; Any other relevant industry news and trends; Manages the Name, Image, Likeness CRM with Salesforce: Organizes, updates and exports the sales pipelines from Salesforce in advance of the weekly calls; Communicates with members of the sales team to receive account updates; Provides weekly internal activity reports; Conducts day-to-day prospecting work for the NIL sales team; Supports all sales efforts primarily outreach; Develops strategic relationships in key areas; Responsible for disseminating pertinent information to the group; All other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree required; 3-5 years’ experience in Sports Marketing and/or Sales preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Superior organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Understanding and interest in the sports sponsorship landscape, key industry players, market values and activation concepts; Ability to analyze SEC filings and company earnings reports in an efficient manner; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences, both written and verbally; Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail; High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance; Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision; Extremely proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; Basic proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat Pro preferred; Basic proficiency with Sales Force CRM; Highly responsive and accessible; Ability to work both collaboratively as well as autonomously; Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding interpersonal relationships. The pay range for this position is: $80,000- $90,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
