Experienced Accountant/Enrolled Agent Wanted (Queens Area)
Our CPA firm is looking for new teammate to join our team. We provide accounting and tax services to small businesses and their owners.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years working in a CPA firm. Work includes accounting and tax preparation. Experience working with QuickBooks as well as Excel, Word and Outlook. Preparing business and personal tax returns is a requirement.
Drake Tax Software Experience a plus.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients assigned to you, and it’s important to have good people skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Review and preparation of financial statements on a monthly and annual basis, including year-end adjustments
- Preparation of sales and payroll tax filings
- Preparation of tax returns, including Individual and entity returns.
- Provide tax advice, business planning, and other services to clients, as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication with clients and internal colleagues.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level. ($100,000 - $125,000) Firm Incentives will be offered as well.
