Sunrun is the largest dedicated residential solar and storage company in the country and has a mission to bring stably priced resilient power to the masses.Working for an established leader in solar energy finance, you will gain valuable experience supporting Sunrun's $5.0 billion annual solar financing engine in the high-growth residential solar sector. In your role, you will help structure, negotiate, execute and manage project- and corporate-level debt and equity transactions. You will work collaboratively with investors and various groups in the company and develop expertise in areas such as tax equity, securitized products, institutional term loans, bank debt, financial planning & analysis, as well as asset management and reporting. As a member of the Project Finance team, you will have the opportunity to use your excellent business and analytical skills to support C-level decision-making and drive company success.ResponsibilitiesCreate and analyze financial models for portfolios of residential solar systemsSupport investor due diligence and provide timely responses to due diligence inquiriesAssist with the structuring and execution of project finance and corporate transactionsAnalyze and report project profitability and return on investmentCollaborate with colleagues in various functional areas of the company to meet operational and reporting requirements of transactionsProvide timely ad hoc analysis to support company financial planning and decision-makingQualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in finance, economics or businessMinimum of 1 - 2 years of experience at a major investment bank or private equity firm (experience in energy, power or renewable energy preferred, but not required) or a renewable energy companyStrong work ethic and ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced work environmentDetail-oriented and organized with superior analytical abilitiesExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to think creatively to solve complex business and financial problemsIn-depth understanding of finance/valuation concepts and financial statementsExtensive financial modeling experienceSuperior knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPointDemonstrate proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows, or possess the agility and "growth mindset" to rapidly master new AI technologies as they are integrated into Sunrun's operations.Starting salary/wage for this opportunity: $123,433.70 to $164,578.26Compensation decisions will not be based on a candidate's salary history.
