The Probate Pro, a division of Darren Findling Law Firm, PLC, is seeking a Probate Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Royal Oak, Michigan.

The Role

As a Probate Litigation Attorney, you will manage contested probate and related civil litigation matters, providing strategic legal guidance to clients during challenging family situations.

You will be involved throughout the full litigation process, including case strategy, legal research, discovery, negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a caseload of probate and related litigation matters.

· Develop case strategy and collaborate with attorneys on complex legal issues.

· Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement documents.

· Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive arguments.

· Represent clients at hearings, conferences, mediations, and court proceedings.

· Communicate clearly with clients and provide practical legal guidance.

· Manage deadlines, case preparation, and client expectations.

· Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

The Person

The ideal Litigation Attorney will have:

· Active Michigan Bar license and good standing.

· 2–4+ years of litigation experience.

· Experience managing litigation matters and appearing in court.

· Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

· Ability to manage cases, deadlines, and client expectations independently.

· Excellent communication and attention to detail.

· A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering quality legal work.

Experience in probate, trusts, estates, guardianship, fiduciary disputes, real estate litigation, depositions, mediation, or trial work is preferred.
