Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client’s social, emotional, and psychological needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Provide empathetic counseling and support to individuals and families navigating the complexities of addiction and recovery.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to encourage client engagement and progress.
• Design and implement personalized service plans that align with clients’ goals, adjusting strategies based on ongoing assessments.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, promoting access to essential resources and addressing broader social justice issues to foster equitable care.
• Contribute positively to program development by evaluating outcomes, participating in grant reporting, and suggesting improvements based on client feedback.
• Build collaborative relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and outreach.
• Engage in regular team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives to stay connected and informed within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on clients in detox and recovery, providing them with essential resources and support for their mental health needs. You will work closely with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders, to promote holistic healing. Your efforts will be instrumental in helping them navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Demonstrated expertise in providing quality clinical services through telehealth platforms.
• Strong understanding of social justice, advocacy, trauma-informed care, and available community resources.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads and client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience within a nonprofit organization or a similar mental health setting is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• A depth of knowledge in addiction services and the implementation of integrated care models.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $78,000 to $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
