This is an exciting opportunity to infuse the organization with talent brokers for Capital One. In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our hiring teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience. You will be passionate about keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best‑in‑class recruitment shop. Roles and Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, including creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers. Source stellar candidates beyond direct applications, leveraging search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques. Provide a great end‑to‑end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers. Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent. Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (talent marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, referrals, etc.). Consult with hiring managers on their talent needs. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 2 years of experience in recruiting OR Human Resources OR client consulting experience (or a combination of the three). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification. At least 3+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing. At least 1+ year experience consulting with multiple hiring managers simultaneously while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships. Ability to influence and drive results in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse HR talent. Experience in compensation and general HR requirements related to hiring. Salary & Benefits At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries by location: McLean, VA: $96,500 – $110,100; Richmond, VA: $87,700 – $100,100. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
