Work Environment

This position is situated in a home care setting, which allows for personalized patient interactions and adaptable treatment plans. As a member of our team, you will engage with patients in their own homes, providing a comfortable environment that facilitates healing and rehabilitation. Your schedule will typically run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing you to enjoy a balanced work-life dynamic while making a significant impact in patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess functional limitations and develop effective treatment plans for each patient.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that are tailored to the individual needs and conditions of each patient, while adhering to state and federal practice regulations.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals, when necessary, to modify treatment plans based on patient progress and emerging healthcare needs.
• Provide discharge planning and follow-up care recommendations, clear communication to patients and families regarding their care plans and progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education initiatives to maintain high standards of practice and stay updated on industry advancements.
• Engage actively in facility meetings and contribute to the collaborative culture of our practice, participating in quality improvement initiatives as directed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Restore Pro Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, those seeking relief from chronic pain, and patients looking to regain functionality after injuries or accidents. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing their mobility and quality of life, making your role vital to their overall rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, we especially value candidates with expertise in home health care settings. Compensation and Benefits
