Job TitleJob responsibilitiesWork with product owners and business SMEs to understand functional and data requirements for implementations in order to build Logical Data Models that reflect requirements and can be used by technologists to build solutions that are fit for purposeActively looks to expand and mature the content of the Business Information Models by leveraging analysis and modelling done on implementationsWorks with the Information Architecture leadership to ensure best practice data modelling standards & guidelines are followed by BIMs and implementation LDMsEngages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose information architecture approaches to meet current and future needsIdentify opportunities to intersect with other Data Management functions to improve meta data, consistency of definitions & end to end data lifecycle managementParticipates in information architecture governance bodiesEvaluates information architecture recommendations and provides feedback to stakeholdersExecutes creative information architecture solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problemsIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issuesFacilitates evaluation sessions of data models with relevant stakeholders to drive positive outcomes through probing of functional & data requirements, definitions and validation rulesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsDegree in Computing Science or related degree or relevant related experience10 + years' experience as an Information or Data ArchitectHands-on practical experience delivering Logical Data ModelsHands-on practical experience of Logical Data Modelling ToolsHands-on practical experience of Business & Data Analysis techniquesCDMP Certification (Certified Data Management Professional) or any other data management related certificationExposure to Industry Data ModelsExperience in building Common Data Model'sAdvanced knowledge of architecture & Exposure to other Data management functional areaProficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsAdvanced knowledge of one or more software, application, and architecture disciplinesAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best information architecture solutions for the future state architecturePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsWorking knowledge of MagicDraw and Erwin or other data modelling toolsKnowledge of UML & ER modelling methodsKnowledge of Wholesale Payments businessKnowledge of Domain Driven DesignAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
