Our Miller Truck Leasing division is immediately hiring for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician in Hartford, CT. With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. You Will: Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments Replace clutches & transmissions You Have: Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors Preventative Maintenance and Repair experience on diesel tractors A valid CDL (Class A or B) Hand tools Ability to work: Monday - Friday from 10am-6:30pm (B Level Tech) Competitive compensation: $25-38 Per Hour + $1 Per Hour Shift Differential Paid Vacation and Holidays Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with HRA, HSA, and FSA options 401(k) with a company provided match Company-paid life insurance Employee Discounts and an Employee Assistance Program Career Advancement Opportunities for Technicians at all levels #Miller1
