The Relationship Development Associate role is our on-ramp into financial advising. You don't need industry experience or a finance degree to begin. You need work ethic, coachability, and a genuine interest in helping people, and we'll teach you the rest. This is a real career path, not a support role. You'll start by learning the fundamentals of the business and building professional relationships, and you'll grow into a fully licensed Financial Advisor with your own book of business, backed every step of the way by mentorship, training, and the Guardian platform behind you. What a Relationship Development Associate Does In your first phase, your focus is learning the business and building the muscles every successful advisor relies on: Learn how financial planning works and why it matters to real families and business owners Build and develop professional relationships with prospects and clients Support experienced advisors in client strategy conversations and planning work Grow and manage your own professional network Study for and complete your licensing with full company support Take part in mentorship, training, and team development sessions The Path from Associate to Advisor We've built a clear, structured path so you always know what's next and what you're working toward. As you complete your licensing and hit early production and activity milestones, you transition from Relationship Development Associate into a full Financial Advisor role, with compensation and responsibility growing at each step. Licensing and Training You do not need to be licensed to start. We provide full support toward: Life and Health Insurance License Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) You'll have study support, mentorship, and a team invested in getting you through it, because your success is our success.
