CUMULUS MEDIA | (Atlanta, GA) has an immediate hybrid-remote opening for an AR Specialist at the Corporate Office and will report to an Accounting Manager of the Chief Accounting Officer's group. This role directly supports the Corporate Westwood One accounting team with invoice management, submission, and month-end. You'll use your detail-oriented nature to ensure accuracy and assist in resolving billing-related issues. This is a very collaborative role and will partner with vendors, customers, as well as Corporate Staff Accountants and other internal team members to complete your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to a customer
• Facilitating distribution of invoices and billing materials
• Make recommendations on opportunities for improvement
• Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met
• Collaborating with customers, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
• Team with internal staff, including accounting and sales teams, to develop departmental partnerships
• Build relationships with external parties to facilitate a streamlined billings process

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Knowledge of general accounting and billing procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals at all staffing levels
• Flexible, adaptable and able to operate in fast paced, changing environment
