Accounting Manager | NewGen Administrative Services This is a full-time hybrid role at NewGen Administrative Services, located in Montebello, CA. NewGen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. This Accounting Manager role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring timely financial reporting, and supporting the operations of our communities by collaborating across departments. The TL;DR Role: Full Time Type: Hybrid Location: Montebello, CA Pay: $95000–$135000 yearly Team: Shared Resources team, supporting the Assistant Controller and Accounting Director. Mission: Owns the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements to support financial operations and community care. Tech Stack: Windows environment (Word, Outlook), Excel, Great Plains ERP What You’ll Actually Do Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements and global journal entries, including for credit card and payroll. Account Analysis: Complete balance sheet reconciliations and perform P&L analysis, ensuring solid supporting documentation. Review and Adjustments: Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial trends to propose necessary adjustments and explain variances. Collaborative Support: Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure invoice, payment, and accrual accuracy, and assist with chargeback reporting. Operational Assistance: Support the Assistant Controller and Accounting Director with month-end close processes, external audits, and tax engagements. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, prepared for a manager-level accounting role. Experience: 4–6 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager, specifically including G/L accounting. Skills: Intermediate-level accounting knowledge, advanced Excel proficiency, excellent communication, strong detail orientation, and proven problem-solving ability, along with the capacity to plan and manage multiple priorities. Bonus: Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting and Great Plains ERP experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
