Physician Assistant - Urgent Care (Moonlighting)

Job Overview

Fairview Urgent Care provides convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Physician Assistants working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at Fairview urgent care centers in the metro area. Hours vary by site. Volume fluctuates seasonally.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• BC/BE through NCCPA
• Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
• Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients.
• Must have at least 2 years urgent care or clinic experience. Internal candidates are also preferred.

Compensation Disclaimer

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
