Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with moderate support needs in the South/Central Seattle area. You’ll work onsite with dedication and passion, providing essential occupational therapy services to help students achieve greater independence and success throughout the academic year, from late August through mid-June.

Your expertise will directly impact young lives in a diverse and dynamic environment. Collaborate closely with educators and other specialists to develop innovative strategies tailored to each student’s unique requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington OT License required
• ESA certification required
• Experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred
• Competence in developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm to work with moderate support needs students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across assigned schools in South/Central Seattle (onsite only)
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy plans addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
• Collaborate with faculty, families, and students to facilitate educational objectives
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of IEPs in compliance with state guidelines
• Consult and communicate with teachers and caregivers to ensure continuity and progress in therapy interventions
