Job Title: Manual Lathe & Mill Machinist (Day Shift) Pay: $28.00+/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Day Shift | MondayFriday Job Type: Full-Time Location: Broken Arrow, OK Manual Lathe & Mill Machinist Must-Have Requirements Proven experience operating manual lathes and mills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Strong experience holding tight tolerances Proficiency using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Ability to set up jobs independently (tooling, speeds, feeds, offsets) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and ability to work day shift Manual Lathe & Mill Machinist Position Summary The Manual Lathe & Mill Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating manual machining equipment to produce precision parts to exact specifications. This role requires a skilled machinist who can work independently, maintain tight tolerances, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. * Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers. * Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders. * Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
