Make a meaningful impact supporting students with diverse needs in dynamic middle school environments in the Northglenn and Thornton communities. Two rewarding opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education professionals: one supporting mild to moderate learning needs, and another serving students with significant support needs (SSN). Both roles invite you to collaborate closely with school teams, engage with students across various ability levels, and bring your expertise to enriching classroom experiences.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist endorsement, ages 5–21
• Background serving students with mild/moderate learning disabilities and/or significant cognitive and communicative needs (depending on assignment)
• Flexibility for either a full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (.5 FTE) schedule, based on assignment
• Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual student needs
• Availability to begin as early as possible, continuing through key segments of the academic year

In these roles, responsibilities may include:

• Delivering high-quality, individualized instructional services to middle school students, supporting IEP and 504 plan implementation
• Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success
• Progress monitoring and ongoing documentation to track growth and inform instruction
• Participating in IEP meetings and supporting compliance with district/state guidelines
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
