Job Description Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist Micro Auto Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join our team! Micro Auto Group is both a manufacturer and distributor of paint and automotive parts with multiple companies and locations. Our Accounts Payable Specialist position plays a vital role in managing the company's payments and maintaining positive vendor relationships through an open line of communication. This is a long-term, part-time position, with flexible hours. This long-term position is through Hire Power agency. Micro Auto Group is a fantastic place to work, apply today! Responsibilities · The AP position will provide financial and clerical services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices · Maintain database with vendor information · Research and respond/resolve to vendor accounts payable inquiries in a timely manner · Resolve discrepancies in billing or payments · Schedule and process ACH and check requests through weekly check runs · Provide administrative support for the accounting department as needed Qualifications · Must have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment · Proficiency with database software and MS Office suite, especially in MS Excel · Ability to multitask · Willingness to learn · Proven ability to overcome obstacles, get results, and work independently · Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented skills · Strong written and verbal communication skills · This position requires the employee to be physically present at the company's main office location in Highland Park, with no remote or hybrid work options Company Description Micro Auto Group is a family-owned business for over 75-years.
