About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Tertiary Services to provide system-level leadership across its tertiary cardiac, pulmonology, neonatology, and hospitalist service lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring operational, financial, and quality performance across multiple regions and clinics. This role involves partnering with the System Senior Physician Executive for Tertiary Care, assessing performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving initiatives that align with the organization's strategic priorities. The VP will also oversee regional directors and clinic leaders, maintain accountability for budgets and resource allocation, and lead the development and implementation of policies and clinical transformation efforts. Applicants for the Vice President, Tertiary Services position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a health-related field or business, with at least 10 years of experience in progressive health administration leadership, including a minimum of five years in direct ambulatory clinic administration/operations. The role requires the ability to build strong relationships with physicians, administrative leaders, and key stakeholders, as well as a proven track record in advancing patient experience and safety, and strengthening workforce and practice environments. The VP will be expected to coordinate the recruitment and retention of clinical staff and represent the service line in interactions with various health organizations and government agencies. Operating in a matrixed environment, the role demands a leader who can influence, collaborate, and execute strategically to build an integrated, high-performing tertiary care service line.
