In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with district occupational therapists to help manage their expanding caseloads across 1-3 campuses. You’ll empower students to develop critical life and workplace skills, implementing therapy programs and interventions under OT supervision. The schedule is self-determined, providing exceptional autonomy to organize your weekly campus visits and balance your work-life commitments.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA certification and Kansas state license (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a flexible schedule across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic programs prescribed by supervising occupational therapists
• Support students in achieving specific goals within their IEPs
• Adapt activities and tools to meet students’ individual needs and classroom environments
• Maintain documentation and report progress to supervising OTs
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
