Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take on a range of responsibilities centered around providing therapeutic support to individuals and families. Your daily activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and individual family members to identify treatment needs.
\n
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing a variety of issues, including relationship conflicts, substance abuse, psychological trauma, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.

• Facilitating counseling sessions with couples to improve relational dynamics and individual sessions to explore personal challenges.
\n
• Engaging with family members to mediate conflicts, enhance communication, and foster healthier interactions.
\n
• Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Providing community resources and referrals when appropriate to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patient population will encompass a diverse range of individuals and families facing various challenges. As an LMFT, you will specialize in:

• Addressing issues related to alcohol abuse, grief, and loss.
\n
• Providing support to families in conflict, including blended families and those adjusting to separation or divorce.

• Helping clients deal with job-related stress and medical challenges.

• Facilitating mother-daughter relationship dynamics and strategies for improved communication.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) state license.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
