CGP - Commissions Accounting Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their team within a contract to hire opportunity. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $36.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a spreadsheet of all carrier portals, websites, and corresponding login credentials.
- Identify commissions received using daily EFT downloads and check deposit data.
- Download and electronically save all commission statements from various sources to the appropriate directory.
- Track the status of carrier statements from deposit to completion and investigate any missing or unidentified items.
- Communicate with carrier representatives to resolve issues related to missing or unclear statements.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, written, and oral communication skills.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time independently or within a team setting.
- Think analytically with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Uphold strong ethical standards and maintain a high level of integrity.
- Coordinate with computer programmers to work through system logic when needed.
- Hold a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, GAIT, and ICM.
- Reformat commission statements into Excel and create pivot tables for data analysis.
- Enter coded commission data into templates for upload into the general ledger.
