Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, assessing needs based on injury, disease, or surgical recovery.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Implement treatment strategies effectively to reduce pain, improve mobility, and facilitate recovery in collaboration with patients.
• Monitor progress and document treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational guidelines; adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Guide patients and their families in the use of assistive devices when required, enhancing patients' confidence, independence, and quality of life.
• Participate in ongoing professional education, including attending workshops and collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and innovative treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and older adults facing various diagnoses, from chronic conditions to post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role is crucial in empowering clients to regain mobility and enhance their everyday functioning and overall wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Basic proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience working with patients of various age groups and conditions, focusing on outpatient rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and mobility aids.

Compensation and Benefits
