Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with us, your daily duties will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their concerns and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and crafting individualized treatment plans aimed at optimizing mobility and promoting healing.
• Demonstrating proper therapeutic exercise techniques to patients, ensuring they gain confidence in their rehabilitation practices.
• Administering manual therapy techniques, including massage and other modalities, to stimulate recovery and relief from pain.
• Assisting patients in navigating their rehabilitation equipment, including walkers, crutches, and other assistive devices.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of patient progress, including documenting changes in condition and achievements in therapy goals.
• Providing educational resources for in-home treatment options and exercises to empower patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse population, including pediatric and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, ranging from sports injuries and post-operative recovery to chronic pain management and mobility impairments. Your role is pivotal in ensuring they receive tailored care that aligns with their specific rehabilitation needs, ultimately helping them achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with patients and documenting care.
• Proficiency with digital record-keeping and basic word processing systems.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and patient needs.

Preferred Experience
