Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for post-procedure patients with cardiac or interventional needs, classified as Med/Surg status.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient condition, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and manage lines, drains, and IV therapies per clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with cardiology/interventional teams and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and education while supporting families as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of critical care or cardiac experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights) in a post-procedure Med/Surg setting
- Preferred: BSN or Magnet-recognized certification
