Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Multi-Site Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This individual will serve as a key business partner to operations leadership, providing financial oversight, actionable insights, and strategic guidance to improve profitability, operational performance, and cost control. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Maintain compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies. Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial processes. Cost Accounting & Operational Finance Own standard costing methodologies and maintain the integrity of product costing systems. Analyze manufacturing variances, including labor, material, overhead, purchase price, scrap, and inventory variances. Partner with plant leadership to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve operational efficiencies. Review BOMs, routings, labor standards, and inventory transactions to ensure accurate cost reporting. Monitor inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes. Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts across all facilities. Prepare monthly financial forecasts and analyze performance against budget and prior year results. Deliver meaningful variance analysis and financial insights to executive leadership. Develop financial models and KPIs to support strategic decision-making. Assist leadership with capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis. Business Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to Plant Managers, Operations Directors, and senior leadership. Translate operational results into financial impacts and recommendations. Provide financial support for pricing strategies, margin improvement initiatives, and growth opportunities. Present financial results and business performance updates to executive leadership. Team Development Lead and mentor accounting and finance staff across multiple locations. Establish best practices and standardized financial processes. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment. 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing accounting or finance teams. Strong expertise in: o Cost Accounting o Standard Costing o Manufacturing Variance Analysis o Budgeting & Forecasting o Inventory Accounting o Financial Reporting o Internal Controls Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. Preferred CPA, CMA, or MBA. Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities. Experience within a private equity-backed organization. Experience with acquisitions, integrations, ERP implementations, or business transformation initiatives.
