As a Human Resources Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee communications, and HR operations across our family of companies. If you're passionate about people, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact, this internship will give you valuable real-world experience while helping you build a strong foundation for a future career in Human Resources.Internship Duration and ScheduleThis internship will start October 2026 through May 2027, providing hands-on experience. We offer a flexible work schedule between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing you to balance academic and personal commitments.During the academic year: A minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week.We're committed to creating a meaningful and manageable internship experience that supports your growth and success.Key ResponsibilitiesSupports recruitment activities, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, conducting candidate outreach or initial screenings as assigned, and providing applicant correspondenceAssists with onboarding and new hire activities, including pre-employment processes, orientation preparation, training coordination, and new hire communicationsSupports internal communications by drafting and preparing employee announcements, newsletter content, flyers, intranet updates, and other HR communicationsProvides HR administrative support, including maintaining employee records and HR documents, updating organizational information, completing data entry, and assisting with routine reporting and documentationPerforms other additional duties as assigned or requiredWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related fieldExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, deliver professional employee communications, and provide outstanding customer serviceSolid organization, attention to detail, and discretion, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, produce accurate work, and handle confidential information with integrityTechnology-savvy and adaptable, with proficiency in Microsoft 365, comfort using AI and HR technologies, and a proactive, collaborative approach to learning and contributing across a broad range of HR responsibilitiesDesired QualificationsPrior internship, office, customer service, recruiting, communications, or administrative experienceExposure to HRIS, applicant tracking, design, intranet, or employee communication toolsBasic knowledge of human resources principles and federal or state employment lawsWork LocationRW Thrive is headquartered in Eau Claire, WI.
