Role Overview

• Performing comprehensive assessments of patients, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, either in collaboration with physicians or independently depending on your credentials
• Guiding patients and their families on health maintenance, preventive measures, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by practice regulations
• Coordinating follow-up care and chronic management to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Working jointly with an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated, comprehensive care
• Recording patient interactions meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the capacity to complete within 90 days
