Employees will strive to provide students and staff with a safe, clean, and comfortable environment to learn and work.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:1. Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in an office environment required2. Computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft office or other office productivity software and the ability to use specialty software3. Analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem solving skills4. Ability to work in a team and across departmental boundaries5. Knowledge of office equipment6. Ability to manage time and priorities efficiently7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively and efficiently8. Must be cooperative, congenial, and customer service-oriented9. Ability to communicate, read and write in English and perform basic math functions10. Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk as needed to meet the demands of the assigned job duties11. Must be able to lift 35 pounds12. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines13. Ability to work with frequent distractions and foster a professional office atmosphereEssential Job Duties:1. Assisting in a variety of programs and policies regarding employees such as advertising job positions, recruitment, processing applications, verifying employment, separation, contracts, and compensation schedule in compliance with organization's policies, contracts, laws, and agreements.2. Interpreting various written materials such as transcripts, State licensure, employment records, references, employment regulations, and education codes.3. Communicating with other departments, employees, applicants, administrators, HR coordinators and staff to provide information and assistance regarding recruitment, transfers, employment, assignment letters, personnel records and legislation.4. Perform office duties including but not limited to: filing, accurate data entry, accurate reporting, collecting, organizing and maintaining paperwork, records systems5. Assist in employee orientation programs, employment benefits, open enrollment, payroll, and employee onboarding process.6. Assisting employees regarding various programs and procedure requirements such as tenure, tuition reimbursement, hours of work, benefits, general work expectations, and time off.7. Assisting in new employee orientation programs, including benefits and compensation packages8. Maintaining confidentiality concerning personnel actions, legal actions, termination and non-renewal documents, and evaluation documentation.9. Perform office duties including but not limited to: filing, data entry, digitize documents, accurate reporting, collecting, organizing and maintaining paperwork, records and communication systems10. Be courteous and responsive to requests11. Deal with confidential items in a professional manner12.
