Territory Sales Representative

Locations: California (Bay Area) | Seattle / Portland | Kansas City / St. Louis Field-Based | 90% Travel Responsibilities: Drive sales growth and market share across an assigned territory, focusing on tissue diagnostics consumables and instrumentation. Identify and develop new business opportunities across clinical laboratories, hospitals and diagnostic organisations. Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts. Conduct regular in-person customer visits, product presentations and sales meetings. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently achieving monthly sales targets. Develop territory sales plans to identify key accounts, opportunities and areas for geographical expansion. Collaborate with internal teams to support customer requirements and close sales opportunities. Prepare sales proposals, presentations, contracts and activity reports. Represent the business at industry conferences, trade shows and customer events. Provide market intelligence, customer feedback and competitor insights to internal teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related discipline, with 3+ years of B2B sales experience; alternatively, 5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience. Previous medical device, diagnostics or laboratory sales experience preferred. Experience selling histology, pathology or tissue diagnostics consumables and/or instrumentation highly desirable. Proven ability to develop new business, manage customer relationships and achieve sales targets. Strong territory management, prospecting and account development skills. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Comfortable working independently in a highly field-based sales environment. Willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time to customer sites across the assigned territory, including regular overnight stays. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nexia
