Coordinator, Engineering/Career Services and Employer Relations

University Of Rhode Island is hiring a Coordinator, Engineering/Career Services and Employer Relations. The role involves providing career advising and professional development programming to engineering students, collaborating with faculty and campus offices to enhance student career development, and supporting employer engagement by acting as a liaison to employers, alumni, and industry partners. Highlights Provide group and individual career advising and develop career readiness resources for engineering students. Teach a career preparation course (ITR 300) and support internship and job search strategies. Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and campus offices to promote career services and employer engagement. Serve as a primary contact for employers, alumni, and industry partners; organize career fairs and networking events. Collect and analyze data on student career outcomes and employer interactions; prepare reports for institutional needs. Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years of relevant experience in career services, advising, recruiting, or employer relations. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and written communication skills are essential. Willingness to work evenings and weekends; experience working with diverse student populations. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in higher education or related fields, STEM/engineering experience, and familiarity with career services platforms.
