Entry Level Chemist

Eurofins seeks an entry-level chemist to perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products. The role involves independent operation of chromatographic and spectroscopic instruments, sample preparation, method development, and GMP documentation at a Lancaster, PA laboratory.

Responsibilities Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products Operate chromatographic, Karl Fischer, UV/Vis, HPLC, IC, and other analytical instruments independently Prepare samples and standards for analysis with minimal oversight Set up and validate new analytical processes and execute method transfer protocols Document all work to meet GMP requirements and perform routine equipment maintenance Requirements Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship Proficiency with HPLC, chromatographic systems, and spectroscopic instrumentation Knowledge of analytical methods for pharmaceutical analysis Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Familiarity with GMP compliance and laboratory documentation
