Make a lasting impact in the lives of middle school students by providing your expertise in speech-language pathology. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) ready to work on-site with grades 6–8, supporting a diverse caseload of 60–65 students. The assignment runs ASAP through May 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Your skills will be crucial in helping students in a collaborative learning environment, and you’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary school team.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
• Current FL State License
• SLP-CCC certification through ASHA
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to complete district background check, fingerprinting, and credentialing requirements promptly
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a student-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades 6–8
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records
• Attend meetings, participate in team planning sessions, and contribute to a positive educational environment
