Mathematician for AI Model Training
$80 - $90 per hourSaidGig
Apply advanced mathematical expertise to the development and evaluation of training content for next-generation AI systems. This remote contract opportunity centers on mathematical research, rigorous problem-solving, proof writing, and the creation and review of high-quality mathematical material. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities
- Author and review advanced mathematical problems, solutions, and proofs across calculus and other higher mathematics domains.
- Design and analyze mathematical challenges and provide rigorous feedback to improve their clarity, correctness, and precision.
- Evaluate and refine mathematical content for use in AI training datasets.
- Develop technical analyses, explanations, and justifications that demonstrate research-level mathematical rigor.
- Apply research methodology when developing and verifying mathematical concepts and techniques.
- Communicate complex mathematical ideas clearly and precisely in written and verbal formats for varied audiences.
- Collaborate with project teams and contribute subject-matter expertise that supports improved AI learning and reasoning.
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience producing research papers, mathematical proofs, or technical analyses in academic or applied settings.
- Advanced knowledge of calculus, mathematical proof writing, and higher mathematics concepts.
- Exceptional mathematical problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly.
- Background in research methodology and mathematical content development.
- Experience contributing to collaborative projects or international research initiatives is a plus.
- Remote contract engagement.
- Work may be completed from locations worldwide.
- No prior professional experience in artificial intelligence is required.
Compensation is $80 to $90 per hour.
